Solid Wood Dice Set - Royalwood

Purpleheart is one of the few naturally occurring purple woods in the world. The color comes from the wood itself, produced by exposure to light and air after the wood is cut. The Royalwood dice set is made from Purpleheart, and the deep violet tone you see in the dice is not a stain or a dye. It is the actual color of the material.

The grain runs through each die with the kind of depth and richness you only get from real wood. Each die in the set will carry the same deep purple base, but the grain pattern shifts from piece to piece depending on how the wood was cut and finished. Your set is unique in the same way any natural material product is unique. No manufacturing process produces two identical pieces of Purpleheart.

Purpleheart is a dense, hard wood with strong dimensional stability. It holds its shape well, takes an engraving cleanly, and handles regular use without deteriorating. These are not fragile decorative dice. They roll true and hold up over time.

The Royalwood set covers all seven shapes in a standard polyhedral set, from the D4 through the D20. Numbers are engraved and finished for clean readability against the purple grain. The contrast between the engraved numbers and the deep wood tone keeps readability consistent across all seven shapes in the set.

Players who collect wood dice often name Purpleheart as one of the standout materials available. The color is unusual enough to draw attention, and the natural variation in the grain means your set tells a slightly different story than anyone else’s. If you want to give a wood dice set as a gift, the Royalwood tends to make a strong impression.

If you want a dice set made from a genuinely distinctive natural material, with color and character built into the wood itself, the Royalwood is worth your attention.
